1. Baking Soda for Sink Cleaning

Sprinkle baking soda in the sink to get extra abrasion which will allow you to scrape the grime and gunk from the surface and corners of the sink.

This is good for house cleaning as it is safe to use to clean oil and grease off of the kitchen. Dishwashing soap can also be used for brilliant cleaning.

2. Hand Washing Greasy Cutleries and Dishes

4. Ways of Cleaning Tile Grout

Grout is very easy to get dirty, especially in the kitchen area. You have to be very particular in how you maintain and clean your grout. Make a paste of two parts baking soda with one part of hydrogen peroxide for house cleaning.

There is plenty of information that you can find online to know the different ways how you can simplify your cleaning tasks.

5. Proper Way of Disposing Grease

To save yourself from expensive bills of plumbing in the long run, you need to consider the following brilliant cleaning tricks.

You can dispose of used grease by placing it in a used can or plastic bag. Pour the grease inside and let it cool down. When it is solidified, you can dump it in the compost bin. You can also use a paper towel and wipe the grease out when you are done cooking.

6. Effective Way of Cleaning Microwave Oven

One of my favourite ways of cleaning the microwave oven is by using a lemon. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl and fill it with water and put it inside the microwave for about three minutes.

Once done, remove the bowl and take a microfibre cloth and give the insides of the microwave a good wiping. The steam generated from the water with the lemon will make the insides of the microwave fresh and clean.

7. Descaling the Kettle

Descaling is very simple and easy. Pour a liberal amount of vinegar into the kettle and bring it to a boil. Once done, you can empty the contents and rinse the kettle.

8. The Permanent Marker Trick

One of the tricks that really work with permanent markers is by writing on top of it with whiteboard markers. These tricks for every occasion are known to cleaners. It may take a few tries, but you will see the permanent marker disappears.

9. Getting Rid of the Garbage Juice

To avoid this garbage liquid from collecting at the bottom of the bin, crumple up the newspaper and place it at the bottom of the bin. It will absorb the nasty garbage smell leaving the room smelling fresh.

10. Dishwasher Problems

There are always cleaning tricks for every occasion. You can use delicate laundry bags and place the small cutleries that can easily slip into the spaces of the dishwasher.

It can contain all the bits and pieces of the things that you need to wash in a dishwasher. It is also a great way to clean small plastic toys.

11. Rice Wonders

You can use uncooked rice to clean vases and other glassworks which will be difficult to clean using the traditional methods. Pour in a half cup of rice and a small amount of water and give it a really good shake.

The rice provides an excellent abrasive that gets all the grime and gunk out.

12. The Magic of Post-it Notes

Post-it notes are not only good for taking notes of information, but they can also help you clean out some of the gunk from your keyboard.

You just have to slide the sticky side of the post-it notes in between the keys to trap the dirt and dust that settled at the bottom of the keys.
