We just finished 14 days quarantine and have nothing but praise for the staff and the experience. Every request was accommodated. Every interaction was cheerful and positive. The food was great, with the kitchen being flexible to our specific requests. Coffee was available on order. Really great (circumstances considered) and many thanks to all the fantastic staff.

I did quarantine back in February and the staff at this hotel were very accommodating, everyone did the best they could with the situation. The food was actually pretty good compared to a what a lot of other hotels got, I was for the most part quite happy with it. Got a bit of Stockholm Syndrome after leaving, started missing my hotel room and regular meal delivery! 😂

Would never stop here again. Management definitely prefer the longer term guests and also share confidential information throughout the hostel in order to create tension and atmosphere. There’s nothing really positive about our stay here that I could draw upon. The surveillance from reception 24/7 and constant reminders about the cleanliness of the kitchen felt more like harassment. People here have clearly become to comfortable in the ability to create drama in what suited their agenda. Especially the reception staff who no back bone and always have to resort to “higher authority”. A place would not stay if you paid me.

Do not choose this hostel, thought it would be the best place as it’s right in the city centre however the staff and the way the hostel was run felt more like being in school having been told what to do with surveillance from the reception and other workers all the time. The kitchen closing between 2pm-3pm is ridiculous as this is just a convenient time to still make food. As well as that the kitchen is supposed to close at 10pm, however the cleaners will remove hobs around 9pm to ensure you don’t start cooking even though there is still an hour left. The staff never get off your back about the most minor issues and definitely speak about you to not just other staff but other guests which is entirely unprofessional. The girl with the tattoo on her hand likes to bully and even with a private room they use their special key to come in even if told not to come in which is an entire invasion of privacy. The only exception of this hostel is the manager Mo who is very respectful and kind to the guests. Besides that, as mentioned before it’s as if you’re child in a boarding school with the staff as teachers. If you’re looking to have a chill and nice time this is not the place to stay.

overall awful, the only attraction is location but if you expect a better service & more comfortable staying I would strongly suggest WAKE UP hostel just around the corner.

Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Cool amenities, culture & community.

As it is a backpackers, Yha isn’t the cleanest or fanciest of places to stay. Rooms are small & simple with obvious signs of usage over the years. A certain unpleasant smell wafts through the hallway on level 8. The bathrooms are not the cleanest.

Overall good place to stay – for price & location!
Roftop pool and cinema is a cool bonus

There is a huge difference between a private room with shared bath, and a private room with ensuite (which comes with electric kettle and TV). Kitchen is not so well equipped — you may want to bring your cutting knife, pots & pans if you are planning to cook meals. Overall, very nice staff and comfortable stay.

Me and my two children stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks hotel quarantine. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the facilities were all funtctioning properly. The staff was very helful. My children got amazed when they were sent a jigsaw puzzle and some friday treats. That kept going them for the rest of the quarantine period. The thing that surprised me most is, when my birthday fell on in a day during the stay, the hotel staff send us cup cakes with my name on it and a small gift as well. That is something I was never expecting during a hotel quarantine stay. So hats off to the staff, who were very much considerate and caring !!!

Beautiful building and architecture… always clean and tidy, people who work there are super friendly and kind, great installations (pool, sauna, gym) and its a fantastic mixed experience of half residencial and half hotel… so you always get to knew new people. The location is perfect, 5 min walk from the harbour court and 15 min walk and you are in the middle of the city.

Enjoyed another overnight stay in one of Meriton World Towers Horizon suites. Luxurious and beautiful place to spend the night. Always a pleasure. Nothing compares to the sight of the city of Sydney at night viewed from the top floor of World Tower. Breathtaking and beautiful vista to behold. Not usually a morning person – yet when staying in Merition World Tower suites, I delight in the sight of a Sydney sunrise.

I have stayed here before and I must say this time I was a little disappointed based on my last experience. Saying that, the hotel was at 100% occupancy, and the staff were doing their best. Being one of the largest hotels in Sydney and only have 2 lifts working on the weekend was horrible; walking into your room to find another family in the same room, just as awkward. The staff, where it was in their control did everything they could do to assist us and rectify the problems and we had an enjoyable stay for the remainder of the weekend

I am currently finishing Day 1 of my hotel quarantine and I am not sure I will want to leave on Day 14. The staff in this hotel is unbelievable. So friendly and so attentive. If you call and ask for anything they have available, it’s outside your door in a few minutes. I don’t know how that is possible but they do it. The pre-recorded message they played while we were on the bus at the hotel – waiting to disembark – commented about their world class kitchen and that there would be no hotel quarantine food horror stories here. That is an understatement. 2 days in I can say, unequivocally, the food is outstanding. Very well presented and interesting ingredients and sides. We asked for gluten free options and that was no issue at all. Bless you all for making hotel quarantine something to enjoy and not just endure. Thank you! You are all so appreciated!!

I just spent 2 weeks here for quarantine. The staff were amazing and treated us like actual guests staying in the hotel. Room was the perfect size with a large bathroom & bath! Each time I rang reception for a coffee or ice to keep my drinks cold they would bring it up in a flash, nothing was an effort for them. The food was great too, great variety and flavour! All the nurses that rang each morning to check on me were lovely and patient. I was definitely lucky being placed here! Thanks so much for an enjoyable fortnight!

I stay here every free months when in the city and the staff are always so accomodating.
The gentleman who served us this weekend was able to get us checked in early and also give us a late check out time! Which makes it better for us since we like to not rush when checking out in the afternoons.
Rooms are always clean and have amazing aircon.

Will always be my go to hotel 💓

I stayed here for a few months while working for a client in Sydney and it was the best stay at a hotel that I’ve had. The staff are absolutely lovely! When I fell quite ill, Albert and a staff member even took me to the doctors next door and stayed with me the whole time! The staff at Fraser Suites are just incredible, they checked in on me regularly and always took care of my requests. I was treated like family and felt so comfortable staying here. I recommend this hotel to all my friends. The amenities are great too, I made use of the gym and pool regularly and the location is perfect as it is close to food, shopping and the train. Just a wonderful place all around.

Conveniently located 2 minutes away from a light rail station. When we entered we were greeted by an enthusiastic receptionist who was more than happy to answer any questions. I experienced terrible service by an Asian guy working on Saturday (6/11) at 7.48pm. When I rang the bell he was eating and came out of his room with rude attitude. I just wanted to extend my room 1 more night. He gruffly answered me and seem like he didn’t want to book for me. I was unhappy and said Don’t worry I will book it tomorrow morning. He held me back and booked for me then said pay tomorrow. Please consider your service if you want to improve. Overall, all staffs were useful and friendly except him. I would like to rate 3 stars.

Stay here for 14 days quarantine. Nice room, nice facilities, staffs are nice. Provide three meals and give you menu from catering company, also have paid room service meal from hotel. If you don’t like the food they supplied, can have food delivery to lobby, they will send to your room. The service team did very well, always supplied quickly if you had any required. They found fun for us to kill time, having coloring game, stepping (walking) competition. I am lucky that I was sent to Park Royal and really enjoyed these 14 days with their service!

The hotel was amazing and would give it 5 stars if not for the parking situation. The parking lot that the hotel told us to park in was full, we called and they told us there is another parking lot that would offer the grace hotel parking fee, this parking lot was also full. We ended up parking in a 3hr parking lot and paying $25 in order to quickly check into the hotel before our event. After our event we had to quickly move our car to another parking lot as our 3hrs was up. We could not find another parking lot in the area that offered overnight parking and at this point it was 12am so we decided to just park on a street and we would pay whatever ticket or fine we received as we were sick of driving around for hours. In total we payed $142 for parking including the ticket.

Not too bad, the room was comfortable with nice soft bed and large bedroom with ensuite. Its disappointing that customer service does not exist in this standard of accommodation. I know not to expect it, but basic levels of interpersonal skills shouldnt be too much to maintain.

Run down four star with minimal kitchen equipment. Thin sheets, towels and toilet paper. No coffee plunger or teapot with no bakery or brekkie cafes close by. No room service and no minibar. Front reception only until 7pm and the after hours phone number did not work. Make sure you have at least three access cards because they are very unreliable and you don’t want to be locked out after dark in this part of town. The Asian eateries below are good but expect the outdoor BBQ smells to come straight into your apartment.

Don’t normally review things, but these guys were worth it. My family and I had to quarantine here for 2 weeks. We couldn’t have wished for better apartments. Quality wasn’t a concern for us, but space was; we had loads of space in the living room, and corner dining room. Nice big bathrooms. I don’t know if the Adina was responsible for the food, but that was always good quality and healthy.

The service was excellent – the Adina staff didn’t treat us like ‘quarantine’ customers, but real customers. Going out of their way to help us anyway they could. Even buying us coffee on a Sunday and sending up bags of chocolate for us and activity books for our kids (with crayons). They were superb.

Great price, great service (although I wasn’t sure that the check-in counter was actually that given no staff at the he time). When I was checked-in, this was done well. One complaint in an otherwise faultless room – the shower leaked (the door needs some thought). Apart from that more than good for the price

This is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, great service and a stunning foyer.
Comfortable (enough) suites… but with five star hotels I do imagine the fluffy towels, decadent sheets, comfy robe and those luxury 1% things which just weren’t here.

The gym floor and weight racks also needed a good clean – just looked like no one had used it for a year or so.

I was happy with my stay.. just didn’t quite feel 5 stars
