In 1902, Engineman’s Resthouse became temporary accommodation for firefighters, guards, and train drivers. It is adjacent to Eveleigh Railway Workshops. The resthouse is a 2-storey mansion with 13 rooms, a kitchen, a verandah, and a dining area that generally serves as their meeting room
